The AAA thanks Mike Mrdak AO for his great contribution over many years to Australia’s transport and infrastructure landscape.
Australia’s peak motoring organisation, the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) thanks Mike Mrdak AO for his great contribution over many years to Australia’s transport and infrastructure landscape, most recently in his role as Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
As a career public servant, Mr Mrdak has made a significant difference to the lives of everyday Australians, through his dedicated service in the transport and infrastructure portfolios. His contribution to the management of infrastructure investment and transport safety across all modes is well recognised within the industry; as is his integrity, level-headedness, and his unerring good nature. The AAA, on behalf of its constituent clubs and their eight million members, wish him well in his new role.
The AAA also welcomes the appointment of Dr Steven Kennedy PSM as the incoming Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. We look forward to working with Dr Kennedy to advance the interests of Australia’s motoring public, through the delivery of a safer, more affordable, and a more transparent transport system.
