The Australian Automobile Association (AAA) and our member clubs raise awareness and demonstrate value of the International Driving Permit (IDP). Our current campaign works by identifying genuine experiences of when, where and how an IDP has been used overseas, and to tell a compelling and realistic story. These stories will be used by both the AAA and its member mobility clubs to promote IDPs on social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
1. I agree and consent to providing AAA with an image and description of my travel experience(the Goods) on the use of my International Driving Permit (IDP).
2. I agree to provide the Goods in accordance with the below Terms and Conditions.
3. I understand I am required to give consent to the use of the personal information I am providing in order for my image and description of my travel to be used.
4. I consent to AAA’s use of my personal information and understand it will be used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
1.1 I agree to provide the AAA with the Goods.
2.1 I warrant to have the necessary authority and eligibility to enter into this Agreement.
2.2 I consent to the use of the Goods.
2.3 I warrant that the Goods are accurate, true and correct.
2.4 I warrant to also possess the consent of all other parties who may appear or are mentioned in the Goods.
2.5 I understand and acknowledge that the Goods may appear in public via, including but not limited to social media platforms, print media and electronic media (the Mediums).
2.6 I consent to the Goods being displayed via the Mediums, in perpetuity.
2.7 The AAA makes no representation, and you do not rely on same, and you are aware that there is no obligation or guarantee that the Goods will appear via the Mediums.
2.8 You understand and acknowledge that you will not be compensated or receive additional consideration (monetary or otherwise) to the incentive for the Goods, other than the original gift voucher provided by the AAA.
2.9 You understand and consent to the AAA amending, in its absolute discretion, the Goods, to ensure capability and fitness for the Mediums, or as otherwise required.
2.10 You understand and acknowledge that you will not be given the opportunity to receive, inspect or approve, the Goods after the Goods have been submitted to the AAA.
3.1 Ownership of all intellectual property rights in the Goods vests in the AAA following your submission of the Goods to the AAA.
3.2 The AAA owns, in perpetuity, all rights and interests in any intellectual property (including copyright in any document, or ownership of any, invention, design, or trademark) that is created in the course of or in relation to the IDP marketing project.
3.3 If requested, you will execute (or where relevant, procure the execution of) any document required to perfect the AAA’s title to intellectual property rights contemplated by this Agreement.
4.1 To the full extent permitted by the law, I will not bring a Claim against the Released Party.
4.2 To the full extent permitted by law, your liability is limited to the incentive the AAA has provided to you for the Goods.
4.3 You will indemnify and forever hold the Released Party harmless should a Claim be made in relation to:
(a) intellectual property rights; or
(b) failing to obtain consent from or for any other reason a third party whom appears in and/or is mentioned in the Goods brings a Claim; or
(c) breach of this Agreement.
5.1 If any provision of this Agreement shall be unlawful, void for any reason or unenforceable then that provisions shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.
5.2 Claims includes but is not limited to any and all liabilities, claims, demands, legal actions, rights of actions for damages, personal injury or death in connection with participation in the Activity.
5.3 Agreement means this document.
5.4 AAA means Australian Automobile Association (AAA) ACN 008 526 369 and the Member Clubs.
5.5 Released Party means the AAA, its Member Clubs or any of its related entities and/or affiliates.
5.6 Member Clubs means any and all of the AAA member motoring clubs.
5.7 You/I/Your means the person detailed in the table above.
