Safety, equity and sustainability in transport

The AAA is an apolitical and technology-neutral advocate for federal transport policy that improves safety, equity, and sustainability.

Our key objectives include:

  • road safety
  • transparency and accountability
  • affordable transport
  • equitable and appropriate motoring taxes and expenditures
  • smart decarbonisation of our transport system.

Our major political parties must work together to find a way to replace fuel excise with a new system that is equitable and that provides the revenue needed to support our transport infrastructure needs.

Smart decarbonisation of transport

Policymakers must not only manage environmental challenges, but also optimise motorists’ choice and information.
