New Chief Executive of Australian Automobile Association


Statement from Mr Peter Joyce, President of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA).

The Board of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) is pleased to announce Mr Michael Bradley has been appointed the organisation’s new Chief Executive.

Mr Bradley has been the Director – External Affairs at the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA) since 2010 and prior to joining APPEA, was a Senior Adviser to the Minister for Resources, Energy & Tourism, The Hon. Martin Ferguson.

Mr Bradley has experience as a journalist and public relations professional with academic qualifications in science, economics and journalism.

The AAA Board looks forward to Mr Bradley leading the AAA into the future and ensuring the views of constituent clubs and their seven million members are represented strongly in Canberra.

Mr Bradley will take up his new position in April and the Board looks forward to working closely with him.

Mr James Goodwin will continue as Acting Chief Executive until April and the AAA Board acknowledges his good work in the role.

The Board is pleased Mr Goodwin will continue at the AAA as Director - Government Relations & Communications.
