Motoring Directions

The Role of the AAA

The Australian Automobile Association (AAA) has been an official voice of motoring in Australia since 1924. The Australian Automobile Association supports the activities of the State and Territory motoring clubs and associations. AAA represents interests of these constituent organisations, their 6.4 million members and, indirectly, all Australian motorists at the national and international levels. AAA is widely recognised by governments and industry as the official voice of Australian motorists.

The AAA Vision

To help coordinate constituents in maintaining world best standards of motoring services and be a national advocate for motorists.

The AAA Mission

To promote the interests of Australian motorists by influencing public policy and the efficient use of member organisation services among constituents.
